Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic spiral ramp architecture is as much of a draw as the modern art collection.

A wonderful place to visit. CUNY students and library card Culture Pass holders can get their first tickets for free. The collection features amazing classic paintings by artists like Van Gogh, though some of the ultra-modern art went over our heads haha! The museum is fully wheelchair accessible, with convenient restrooms and water stations located on every floor. Highly recommended for a fun day out with friends.

A beautiful museum and one of my favorite places to visit in New York. The architecture alone is worth the visit, and the spiral design makes the entire experience feel unique. I also enjoyed the exhibitions and the way the artwork interacts with the space. A perfect place to spend a few hours exploring art, culture, and creativity.

The Guggenheim Museum is a truly exceptional place! It is not just a museum; it is an absolute architectural masterpiece. Frank Lloyd Wright's unique spiral design completely transforms the way you experience art. My favorite part of the visit was taking the elevator to the top floor and slowly making my way down the continuous spiral ramp while enjoying the exhibitions. The central rotunda and the glass skylight, which lets in beautiful natural light, create a breathtaking and open atmosphere. As for the collection—the modern and contemporary art pieces (including Kandinsky, Picasso, and others) look even more impressive in this unique, flowing space. An absolute must-visit in New York City!

This was my first time at the Guggenheim. I didn’t realize that it’s basically one large gallery. There is a small bonus gallery on the first floor with impressionist paintings, a store on another level and maybe another exhibit near the top. But most of the art is all by one main artist. The wait for the infinity mirror room seemed to get longer while we were there, so we didn’t make it. You probably don’t need more than an hour for this museum. (Unless you want to see the mirror room - our wait was over 90 min and I think we got access to it maybe 45 min after we left).

The Guggenheim is one of the world’s most iconic museums - and a must-see if you’re experiencing the art treasures of New York. The building itself is sculpture, with its inspiring spiral architecture guiding through its galleries. The great thing about the Guggenheim is how interactive the exhibits are. As you traverse the museum’s perimeter, you’ll weave in and out of work by like of Carol Bove. The focused galleries offer rich displays of prolific artists with a modern bent. It’s incredible. This is a museum that you can explore for days, or walk through in just. Few hours. Add it to your list, and grab some great food while you’re on the East Side of Central Park.
