Recommended by Crown Shy for having a great view, instead of having to go to a view deck at a regular tourist attraction and that’s exactly what it was. Added bonus that the drinks and food weren’t just for show. The cornbread and chicken were a surprise and my favorite. Make a reservation. You have to wait a bit downstairs for the elevator and they can pack it in to make the trip count but not a bad wait.
The absolute ultimate rooftop in NYC. And I’ve done many. The view : is 360, on the 63rd floor in downtown. You see the Brooklyn bridge, financial district all the way up to midtown. It is breathe taking. Drink : expensive but not surprised for that type of place. However they were very very tasty. Cocktails are refined and thought through. Tips : make a reservations or you’ll have to wait a little bit. And there’s a spending minimum per person. You’re looking for an amazing date view ? There it is.
Make a reservation. Make a reservation. Make a reservation! This place is absolutely amazing and one of the best-kept secrets in NYC. As a native New Yorker, I can honestly say I was genuinely impressed by the service, the food, the ambiance, and the view. I sat at the bar, and wow—the drinks and the bartenders were exceptional! Each cocktail tells a story. I was fascinated by the thought, craftsmanship, and process behind the ingredients. As I chatted with the bartender about the flavor profiles and preparation techniques, it became clear that every drink was carefully curated and intentionally crafted. The entire experience felt elevated, yet welcoming. Honestly, I don't have much else to say other than: make a reservation. Actually, one more thing—the rooftop view was phenomenal. It was the perfect finishing touch to an already unforgettable experience. Do yourself a favor and book a table. You can thank me later. 🍸✨🏙️ Luis the bartender ask for him and tip him well!
The truth is I moved to New York City about a year and a half ago, and this place has been at the top of the bar list since I've been here. I've been wanting to go for quite a while, but the $70 fee that you must pay to secure a table has been a deterrent for me, just because I get scared whenever I have to put down a card for a table. That's a personal thing. My friend had a birthday and decided to invite us, and for me it's an automatic yes! I've been wanting to go here for a long time. It's always my goal to visit all the top bars in the city, so we made it happen. This place is super high up. It takes a while to get to. You have to go up an elevator, up stairs, up stairs, up stairs, and when you finally get there, it's small. It's not a huge place. The table we sat at was tiny. We had five people, but it was fine. We got some snacks. Nothing blew me away when it came to the food. It was good, but I've had much better fried chicken. Everything was crazy expensive. I mean, it's rooftop pricing, what do you expect? All drinks were just okay! The honest truth is that I didn't really love this place as much as I wanted to. I really wanted to love this place! I'm a sucker for a great bar and a great cocktail. Maybe I'd come back to sit at the bar. Maybe that's a different experience. I just didn't think it was anything special for me. I think I also went during the day time, and I think it's probably better for sunset or night time, and I acknowledge that. The views are amazing, but it was so windy I couldn't even be outside for 2 seconds! So meh, it's fine. I won't go back. Also, my fears about paying the fee were known. They had booked it for more people. They couldn't come, so we had to eat and drink their fair share. We all had a lot more drinks and food than we really would have had.
Amazing views. Great service. Good cocktails. OK food. The food was fine but really needed a menu item that adds acid or bitterness, like salads. All the items were heavy.
