Got the gramigna, it was divine and everything I hoped for. Don’t get the steak, just don’t. Maybe the filet, but not the steak (with rosemary and salt flakes). Very affordable wine, such a cute establishment with nice staff. Tarimisu was good, not amazing. Wine is super affordable too; £5 for half a liter! I’d give it 5 stars, but that steak kinda killed it for me tbh. Maybe 5 stars next time when I try something else.
Really nice lunch place. They squeezed us in without reservation. Small menu great pasta and artichoke salad with 0.5 liter house white approx 55 euro. Super friendly service and staff. 🍝
Enjoyed a really delicious dinner here after being recommended by a local. Stuck with a mix of the primi pasta dishes and some vegetable sides. This was more than enough food. The tortellini were perfect. The lasagna was excellent. the green pasta had such a simple flavor and if I would return would likely get. The service was nice, they refilled the bread. Nice outdoor section
We found Trattoria Trebbi through a Google search, and I have to say we were very happy with our choice to go there for lunch on a Sunday after exploring the city. The food was amazing, and the service was among the best we received in Bologna. We enjoyed it so much that we had to go back for dinner before returning home. So, if you visit Bologna, Trattoria Trebbi is definitely one of the places to consider for a lovely lunch or dinner.

This cozy spot is clearly a favorite among locals, and during our lunchtime visit, we were the only tourists in sight—always a good sign! We arrived around 2:30 pm, close to their 3 pm closing time, yet the staff welcomed us warmly and never made us feel rushed. They were patient, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food is outstanding, offering a true taste of Italian cuisine with all the rich flavors and traditional recipes you’d hope for. This isn’t a place for extravagant décor or luxurious dining settings. Instead, it’s wonderfully down-to-earth and focused on what matters most: excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Their wine selection is extensive, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the dishes. This is authentic Italian dining at its best. If you’re looking for a fancy restaurant, this might not be your place—but if you want a truly memorable and delicious experience, you’ll leave happy. Highly recommended!
