Highly recommend HN. I did the Omakase experience and no dish fell short. Loved learning about Colombian ingredients. Everything felt cohesive. Service was straightforward and attentive. Ambiance is dim lighted, relax, and great music if you are into rock/alternative, which I am, so a plus. Music was at a perfect volume, to not take away from the food. Gracias!
I had the tasting menu with beverage pairings (two wines, others were specialized cocktails). It was very well prepared, excellent presentation. The food was creative and captured many of the flavors of Colombia. I would absolutely return and would highly recommend it to any of my friends. I gave perfect scores to the food and the service. The atmosphere I'll give four stars as it's comfortable but not overwhelmingly so. I've eaten at the bulk of the better-regarded restaurants in Bogota. Humo Negro is right at the top.
We went for dinner and had the tasting menu which was outstanding. All 9 dishes were delicious and interesting. Probably the best tasting menu I’ve ever had. One of my friend does not eat meat and they substituted some dishes for them no problem. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. This is one not to miss if your in Bogotá.
Definitely order the tasters menu. The dishes were exquisitely prepared and the wait staff explained each dish very carefully. I opted for the no alcohol pairing option.
Had a wonderful dinner experience at Humo Negro, they had guest chefs from Argentina and Medellin so it wasn’t their usual menu. Service was great, cocktails were good.
